I have been included in the top 10 finalists for the Bulletin’s Smart 100 Award. This is a great honour and reflects more on the people who I have worked with over the last several years. Together we have been driving an agenda of making schooling in today’s world relevant to all kids. It is good to know that some of my peers recognise this as a critical issue for all involved in schooling.
There certainly is a broad cross section of people in the finalist list. It’s good to be in such company and makes you realise how complex the work we do in schools and the education sector is, when you see the diversity of people in the list. It is great to have such passionate people working for students.
