I will admit that I am a 'blogger'. I use blogs on both a professional and a personal level. They can be a very useful tool in the classroom and in 'your other life' (outside school)

The staff at Holy Family have embraced Blogs....congratulations to one and all.

It should be remembered that all things take time. We as teachers need to feel comfortable with 'blogging'... understand what it does, what we do and why we do things in certain ways (i.e not include specifics - student full names with the school name & suburb).

Let's remember not to feel like it is all too much.

It is OK to take time...

Go slowly. Feel comfortable. Learn. Experiment. Make mistakes.Talk to colleagues...Decide...and then "go for it"

Blogging can be fun!...in fact you will may even get 'hooked'

The challenge is for us in the Office is how we mirror a vibrant and effective learning community. Students and staff of Holy Family are leading the way.

This school has really stepped up to the challenge of working in profesessional learning circles that stretch the imagination and learning of the members.Key to this approach is the culture of trust and challenge that the teaching community have developed amongst themselves, there is an understanding that everyone is on a learning journey, join where you are at...yet the expectation is to get on the journey in a supportive environment with your colleagues. In this approach the principal himself says that you have to let go...let the staff determine their direction and learning..Bravo to the staff and students of Holy Family
